新日本石油、北海・ウェストドン油田開発に着手

新日本石油は29日、石油開発子会社の Nippon Oil Exploration and Production U.K. Limitedが、英領北海に位置するウェストドン油田の開発に、オペレーターであるPetrofac社(本社:英国)らと共同で着手したと発表した。 　 　ウェストドン油田は、英国シェトランド諸島の北東海上約150キロに位置し、生産開始は2009年第2四半期の予定。開発コストは約420億円。ピーク時の生産量は日量25,000バレルを見込んでいる。 　 【ウェストドン油田の権益保有会社】 権益比率(%)と会社概要 ◇ Petrofac Energy Developments Ltd.
